Nymphea Capensis

The blue water lily is native to many tropical parts of Africa - and is widespread through various freshwater spots in South Africa. It is pristine to behold a pond covered in these delicate cerulean flowers, with just the palest hint of periwinkle blue about them and contrasting spectacularly against the green lily pads - like pieces of pale sky fallen to earth. The yarn batch contains hints of pale cornflower and periwinkle, combined with hints of pale green and deeper purple speckles.
