Dark Dahlia

It only took me a few years to figure out how to cultivate dahlias - but once I did, they have become a favourite....particularly the darker shade of blooms. The deep velvety reds and magentas are seductive - their baroque drama continues well into the faded flower heads. This colourway combines shades of these dark velvety pink-reds in a richly layered colourway. Please take care with this colourway - forgoing long soaking periods and only using cold water - #justaquickwash or soak. Deep red and pink dyes are prone to bleeding; and although I take extra care whilst dyeing and fixing these, they would benefit from a little extra attention and attentiveness.
