Abalone

When I made this colourway, I had no idea what to call it. Once I had skeined it, I was however transported to my childhood....marvelling at the myriad of colours found in the interior canvas of an abalone shell. This reminded me of those tones and colours, squinting at the sunlight flickering off the ocean and breathing in the cold spray of the Atlantic.

Abalone is a type of mother-of-pearl type colourway with very pale shades of grey, natural white, silver, cream, very pale aqua and gold.

Care Instructions: For long term fibre and colour care a gentle, PH neutral detergent (preferably natural/organic) and cold water rinse is recommended. Refrain from excessive wringing. Dry flat, avoiding prolonged exposure to harsh sunlight.
