Winter Dark

It's been a gloomy winter down here in the Cape - with some seriously dark days (you'll have to excuse us...we live in a generally sunny place, so when the sun disappears....). I visualised this colour as a colour you would find in a dark garden (can we imagine some secret gothicky, Vicotorian version please)- those mysterious and secretive shadows that appear when the twilight falls in overgrown gardens - deep shades of twilight, shadowy greens and teals, with a hint of muted pinks and golds.
