Thoth

Thoth is he ancient Egyptian god of the moon, wisdom, writing, hieroglyphs, science, magic, art, and judgment, better known as the ibis-headed god (the name translates as 'he is like the ibis'). 

Seeing that I really liked how Ibis layered up as a colourway, I decided that I needed a faded, sun-bleached version of it in the shop...just because it makes for such a wonderful colour to use in multi-coloured projects. After racking my brains for what to call this colourway for a month or so (yes....for those wondering... sometimes the names do not come easily to me) it suddenly struck me over the weekend: this baby shall be known as Thoth - because we do need a little smidgeon of ancient Egyptian mythology and mysticism in our lives.

Care Instructions: For long term fibre and colour care a gentle, PH neutral detergent (preferably natural/organic) and cold water rinse is recommended. Refrain from excessive wringing. Dry flat, avoiding prolonged exposure to harsh sunlight.
