Fading Hydrangea

There is a certain Baroque elegance to fading hydrangea blossoms - I wanted to attempt to capture some of the beautiful rustic tones that play out in a hydrangea inflorescence. Pale golden blues, faded olive, golden russet and rusty rose hues combine in this colourway, with a scattering of dark speckles to simulate those delicious sunspots that occur on these flowers.
